Joey Byrne

Joey Byrne joined Leslie Garfield in 2026 and brings over 12 years of international real estate experience to the team, both on an institutional and entrepreneurial level, within roles focused on Acquisitions, Sales, Development and Fundraising. He is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and most recently lived in London for 8 years where he was the Head of Europe at Pacaso, responsible for all the purchasing and selling of luxury residential properties in London, Paris, and many other European markets. Pacaso purchased over $1B of luxury residential real estate during his leadership tenure

He is also a partner in Brooklyn-based Z+G Property Group since 2020, a local institutional commercial real estate investment firm specializing in the operation, renovation, repositioning, and management of premium multifamily assets across New York City & Charleston, SC. He began his career in New York City at BlackRock in the Real Estate Private Equity Group, where he was involved in deal transactions of over $250 million. BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager with over $14 trillion in AUM and owned more than $25 billion in global real estate during his time.

Joey received his B.S. from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business with a concentration on Finance & Entrepreneurship and also spent time studying at The London School of Economics. He currently lives between NYC & London.
