Cathy joined Leslie J. Garfield in April 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience specializing in the New York City townhouse market. Since beginning her real estate career in 2005, Cathy has built a strong reputation for her thoughtful, strategic, and highly personalized approach to townhouse transactions across Manhattan.

Throughout her career, Cathy has primarily represented buyers in the townhouse market, guiding clients through every stage of the process with honesty, market expertise, and careful attention to detail. She is known for giving candid advice and helping clients make informed decisions regarding pricing, condition, tenancy and regulatory considerations, and the long term potential of a property. Clients value her straightforward approach and trust her to identify both the strengths and challenges of each home.

Cathy has participated in the sale of more than 100 townhouses during her career. Her first sale was the townhouse at 45 Montgomery Place, which was reported at the time as the highest townhouse sale in Park Slope.

Originally from Westchester, Cathy graduated from Hunter College and began her career in the M & A department at DoubleClick before beginning her career in real estate. She is married and the mom to three children. She also serves as President of her local school district’s PTA, reflecting her active involvement in her community.
