Alchemy Properties purchased 260-262 West 78th Street and 378 West End Avenue, the former site of the Collegiate School, for $150 million last week. The existing buildings will be replaced with a 19-story building at 378 West End Avenue and an adjoined 12-story building at 260-262 West 78 th Street. There could be as many as 62 apartments created, with about 20,000 square feet of amenities.

The Collegiate School now resides further downtown near Lincoln Square, at 301 Freedom Place South.
