In the past, Greenwich Village wasn’t commonly known as a “family friendly neighborhood”, as it was typically recognized for its eclectic and rebellious crowd. Today, the Village has attracted many families to the once not so traditional area. In addition to the wonderful restaurants and unique shops that make the area so desirable, you can also find many playgrounds, parks, and family friendly events and classes.

Below is a guide to family-friendly activities in Greenwich Village during the colder months:

The McBurney YMCA :: 125 West 14th Street
